Community led environmental projects in the Southside of Glasgow.

North Toryglen

The North Toryglen green space & active travel design project seeks to improve local walking and cycling experiences and enhance green spaces in and around North Toryglen.

As part of this design project we will be organising a series of engagement activities for the local community and stakeholder groups between November 2018 and March 2019. This is an opportunity to help shape design proposals and the more community input we receive, the better chance of getting ideas off the ground!

The proposals seek to:

  • Improve and extend local walking and cycling routes, providing better linkages between residential areas, local facilities and public transport services in and around North Toryglen.
  • Improve the quality of green spaces in the area for people and wildlife in North Toryglen.
