Activities

We work with groups across Glasgow Southside on projects that  inspire and enthuse people to take positive steps to improve their environment and quality of life.  We are committed to enhancing all participants’ skills and confidence through training, workshops, volunteer support and mentoring programs.

Sessions include:
  • Healthy cooking

  • Environmental education activities

  • Foraging and herbal workshops

  • Woodland wellbeing sessions

  • 'Grow Your Own Food'

  • Nature-based crafts

  • Bushcraft

We can offer bespoke sessions or courses for your own community group or organisation. These could lead to certified qualifications to enhance employability - or just to have fun!

Community Gardening

Every week, teams of volunteers work together around our sites maintaining and developing local community gardens

Community Woodland

 

Malls Mire was the first Community Woodland in Glasgow and was made a Local Nature Reserve in 2015

Food, Cooking & Health

Participants in our cookery classes learn about healthy and nutritious food as they learn new cookery skills through practical workshops
